On November 5th Trane RS’ Central Florida Group joined Tampa Bay Trane (TBT) Trane Supply in celebrating the grand opening of their new shared facility just East of downtown Tampa. Over 350 Trane Dealers, Servicing Contractors, and Self-Servicing Owners turned out to inspect the sparkling newly renovated facility filled with Trane equipment, supplies and parts.
Mark Wagner, Vice President – Trane Sales Residential HVAC, Mauricio Patiño, South Region DSO Manager (not pictured), Lyndon Cook Manager, North Florida DSO, Adam Weaver, Tampa DSO Sales Manager joined Doug Cohn, Tampa Franchise Owner, Jay Allison, Tampa Franchise GM, Tim Lane, TBT Trane Supply Manager, Paula Desantis Tarris, TBT Trane Supply Sales Manager, Lisa Barnes, TBT Trane Supply Tampa Store Manager and Tampa Bay Lightning NHL hockey team mascot, Thunder Bug to host the opening.
The 65,000 square foot building is ideally located to serve all elements of the HVAC industry. The new facility includes 25,000 square feet dedicated to Trane RS local Trane residential equipment inventory, 10,000 square feet for TBT Trane Supply’s Trane light-commercial equipment inventory, 10,000 square feet of TBT Trane Supply’s parts and supplies inventory, 5,000 square feet of joint Trane RS and TBT Trane Supply’s offices, training facility and showrooms. 15,000 square feet are set aside for future growth.
The cooperation between Trane RS and TBT’s Trane Supply is not new. The Tampa warehouse is the fourth such shared facility where Trane RS and TBT’s Trane Supply respond as one-Trane to the needs of their customers. The RS/TBT Trane Supply team is already working on finding an acceptable location in Ft. Myers, Florida to create yet another One-Trane location. Once that is accomplished it would leave only the Clearwater area on Florida’s West Coast where Trane RS and TBT Trane Supply are not as yet joined at the hip.
