In our business, the employees’ values and morals reflect the ethics we follow each and every day in the office, our stores, and out in the field. We are in the business of making living space better for life and our people take pride in making life better for living.
Here are some of the ways we support the communities in which we live and work.
The United Way aims to break the cycle of generational poverty throughout the Suncoast region. Tampa Bay Trane has been a proud partner with the United Way for many years and through the generosity of Tampa Bay Trane’s Associates, we were able to raise $46,760.56 in our 2017 campaign.
American Heart Association – Heart Walk
Heart disease is the nation’s number one killer. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest, the largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Their mission is building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Tampa Bay Trane along with our families and friends, a total of 82 walkers, participated in the Annual Heart Walk on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2017, and together we were able to exceed our goal and raised $7,500!
The American Heart Association also recognizes employers as Fit-Friendly Worksites for creating a culture of health in the workplace through progressive leadership and employee wellness initiatives. To reach the Platinum Level, work-sites must fulfill all the gold-level criteria and demonstrate at least one behavior change, cost savings outcome or a positive return on investment (as documented by supporting data). Tampa Bay Trane was able to achieve the Platinum Award recognition for being a Fit-Friendly work-site in 2016!
