TRANE TRACER SUMMIT BUILDING OPERATOR

This is the same course and the same instructors that teach the Tracer Summit Operation Course in St. Paul, Minnesota. Note this course is taught during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. over 3-1/2 weekdays. This course is “hands-on” and employs laptop computers linked to a BCU for each 2-3 students.

Course Description and Learning Outcomes
In this course you will learn to operate and modify an installed Tracer Summit system. This is a highly interactive course where you will learn and exercise common applications of a Tracer Summit Building Management System. At the end of this course the student will be able to:

  • Monitor and control building mechanical systems
  • Respond to alarm conditions
  • Create custom alarms and expanded messages
  • Create schedules
  • Modify existing graphics
  • Generate reports, trends, and calculations
  • Monitor Chiller Plant Control
  • Learn how Time-of-Day (TOD) Area and Variable Air Systems (VAS) work together
